Medical-Surgical - Renal/Urology/Kidney Transplantation

This 38-bed unit is suited to Medical Surgical Nurse Residents who want to specialize in the care of renal/urology diagnoses, kidney transplants, chronic renal failure, radical prostatectomy, general surgery and vascular surgery. If you're especially interested in kidney transplants, you'll be pleased to learn that we not only perform more than 100 transplants each year; we've performed more than 1,500 since 1973. We're also ranked among the top kidney transplant programs in the U.S. That means you'll learn from a highly experienced team.

Nurse Residents also enjoy the Advanced Clinical Practice Program, as well as other educational opportunities. In this strong learning environment, all nurses also receive support from the dedicated education specialist and clinical nurse specialist.
