Our psychiatric nurses play an integral role in the overall team treatment
approach, and our Nurse Technician program is an excellent way to build
on classroom knowledge through a thoughtfully designed, hands-on approach.
You'll find that this specialty offers a variety of departments. In addition,
Nurse Technicians are drawn to the multi-faceted approach that we utilize
to help patients reach the goal of long-term stabilization.
As Nurse Technician, you may work in one of the following units:
- Intensive Treatment Unit
- Medical - Psychiatric Unit
- Acute Adult Unit
- Adolescent Unit
- Winter Park Psychiatric Care Center
