The Florida Hospital Diabetes Program is nationally recognized by the
American Diabetes Association for meeting the national standards for diabetes
education. Nurse Technicians may work in our outpatient program or in
our 20-bed Medical Surgical Diabetes Unit. As a Nurse Technician, you'll
receive comprehensive basic and advanced education courses in diabetes
care and education. You'll then work within this encouraging team environment
to deliver quality care to patients with diabetes. If you have an interest
in this increasingly common yet complicated disease, this pre-professional
program is ideal for you.
