Our Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) program will help nursing students
develop the computer skills you'll need to work professionally as a nurse.
You'll have an opportunity to apply the new medical vocabulary that you're
acquiring in school to "real world" situations. Health Unit
Coordinator's perform a variety of administrative duties from transcribing
orders and maintaining charts to managing phones and scheduling diagnostic
tests. You'll find that you also enhance your communication and interpersonal
skills through this pre-professional nursing program. Plus, you'll be
paid for your efforts.
