Our dynamic Physical Therapy Department offers general rehabilitation
services on an acute care and outpatient basis.
As an physical therapy graduate, you'll have an opportunity to work
with a variety patients. We provide compassionate and inspiring services
for:
- Orthopedics
- Sports injuries
- Back injuries
- Amputations
- Burns
- Oncology
- Pediatrics
- Strokes
- Multiple sclerosis
- Spinal cord injuries
- Head injuries
- Amputations
- Vestibular disturbances
We place a special emphasis on patient and family education, as a vital
aspect of rehabilitation.
In addition, our physical therapists design individualized patient programs
that may include:
- Therapeutic exercise
- Functional mobility training
You may also work with modalities such as:
- Hydrotherapy
- Heat
- Ice
- E-stim
- Traction
- Balance retraining
- Biofeedback
Requirements
Florida State Physical Therapy license or Physical Therapist Assistant
license required.
