A: Should your employment with Florida Hospital end, you will be paid the
remaining balance of your PDO account and your time off reserve account. Employees
who resign after providing proper notice to the hospital will receive all
current PDO benefits. PDO may not be used in lieu of notice of resignation,
or after notice is provided to the hospital.
Florida Hospital's PDO plan gives employees the flexibility that they need
to manage their time effectively. It is a flexible plan that allows you to
use time off as you need for sickness, vacation, holidays and bereavement.
The longer you are with Florida Hospital, the more time off you accrue, and
you can either have the money cash out at the end of the year or have it roll
over to the next year. Our plan is designed to work for you in the most effective
way possible.
